This past weekend one of my best-friends since middle school came in town and I was so excited to show her around. I was happy to to have the chance to take her to some of the cool places in the city that I now call home. The Japanese Tea Garden is a slice of nature within the city. Once you get here, it feels like you’re in a different world – not San Antonio. It’s so nice to find hidden gems like this that can act as an escape when you’re looking for a change of scenery. Since we both love nature, it was extremely refreshing to just walk through the garden and talk about life as the sun set.

Before it got too dark, I got to photograph Tiffany and she did the same for me in this little Black Dress. As we all know, the LBD is something every girl should have in her closet. It’s so simple, yet versatile. Whenever you don’t know what to wear, its so easy to slip a LBD on and look like you made an effort to look nice. If you have any dress in your closet, the LBD should be it.

Dress – Zara | Hat – Forever21
