Every Tuesday I’ll be featuring recent travel inspiration here on the blog. I often come across blogs, videos, photos, or quotes that inspire me to travel or simply go after the life I desire. I want to share that content with all of you here on my blog on a weekly basis so that you can have a variety of content to look forward to!
My favorite Nepali introduced me to Bollywood American film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara . The title means ‘ You Won’t Get a Second Life‘. Instead of throwing a bachelor party, a group of 3 friends road trip through Spain embarking on adventures of a lifetime. Each friend in the bachelor party chooses a ‘dangerous’ activity to partake in – skydiving in Seville, scuba-diving in Costa Brava, and running with the bulls in Pamplona. It’s a light-hearted movie with a bit of comedy and drama. A few aspects were corny, but I honestly loved it!
The film was shot in Spain, Egypt, India, UK so, of course, it gave me major wanderlust. All of the shots were absolutely beautiful and showcased so much of the Spanish culture. I’d love to experience Spain in the way they did.
I won’t ruin the movie for you, but the scuba diving scene was my favorite. I’ve never put a lot of thought into scuba-diving and the thought of exploring ocean depths seems quite scary. Nonetheless, this film really has me interested in trying it It’s now at the top of my bucket list!
There’s an abundance of possibilities available to us in this world, yet we often only reach for what’s right in front of us. I want to experience everything this world has to offer or at least as much as I can. I love any movie, song, poem, or quote that reminds us to live our best life. Sometimes we need that reminder.
Who knew such a light-hearted movie could spark so much inspiration?
