As we drove through Sedona’s scenic byway, we were surrounded by massive red rock formations. I wish I could put the experience into words. Lord knows its a miracle that we didn’t drive off of the road, because our eyes were fixated on our surroundings.
There is a beautiful view in every direction you look in Sedona. It’s a small, yet charming desert town. All of the adobe homes are earth toned, matching the colors of the desert. The native American influence can be seen at every turn. It’s apparent that the people of Sedona are very spiritually connected with the earth. As you drive down the center of the town, you’ll see healing centers, crystal shops, and health shops. After the sun goes down, you can’t see anything other than the millions of tiny bright stars lighting up the sky.
Its the perfect place to retreat and escape the fast-paced city life. I’d definitely love to return one day!
