Happy Tuesday! Happy (belated) mothers day to all the wonderful mothers out there, including my own! As a child, my mother loved dressing me up in skirts and dresses. When I preferred to wear pants, she would force me to wear a skirt. At the time I hated it, because I just wanted to wear my jeans and sneakers. The older I get, the more feminine I prefer to dress and I know she loves it. My mom’s influence on me is HUGE, even when it comes to small things like what I choose to wear.
This Spring, blush has been one of my favorite colors to wear. I love the color pink, but sometimes it can look a bit childish. Blush is a bit more toned down than a bright pink. It looks feminine and classy, without looking too “young”. This blazer also adds quite a bit of femininity to this otherwise black & white outfit.
Despite the constant lack of comfort in these heels, they continue to be my favorite pair. So simple, yet beautiful! You can wear them with the most casual outfit or something on the nicer side.
The high-neck/halter style is my favorite kind of top at the moment. These kind of tops suit my body so much better than traditional tanks, scoopneck tops, etc. I’m so glad that this style has been everywhere lately.
Is there an element of your style that is influenced by someone special in your life?
Thank you to my wonderful roommate for taking these pictures <3
